CONSTANT FORCE/POWER SPRINGS

Constant force or power springs exert a constant force over its range of motion. That is, it does not obey Hooke's law. Generally constant-force springs are constructed as a rolled ribbon of spring steel such that the spring is relaxed when it is fully rolled up.



Materials

We use the highest grades of raw material in our custom products. Examples include, spring steel, low & high carbon steel, nickel plated steel, stainless alloys, non-ferrous materials as well as more exotic stainless materials such as Inconel, Monel & Hastelloy. Material Certifications can be furnished upon request.

Finishes

We partner with local finishing companies that have been approved to our quality standards. Some options we offer are zinc, nickel, silver, tin or gold electroplating, zinc plating with yellow chromate, passivation, black oxide, powder coating and color coding.
